About Us

When contemporary folk music meets appalachian, old-time country and bluegrass you get an idea of The Ramblin' Quincys sound. Playing original tunes pulled from the careful observation of characters, experiences and the unpredictabilty of life, the stories presented by this dynamic new group cannot fail to connect people with the roots of music and storytelling. Fronting the group is Jody Anne Peck and Ange Healy whose harmonies and musical interpretations can send shivers down your spine or make you get up and shake a leg. You can often find The Rambin' Quincys performing live with The Woolly Chaps, a diverse ensemble of musicians including stand up bass, violin, trumpet, and percussion. Each member adding to the story, creating and re-creating the sound for a unique musical experience matching the time and place.
